Mission and Vision

Our Mission

Inspiring young adults to spread the message of Marian Consecration and Divine Mercy.

We are empowering young adults to win the world for Christ by aiding them in their growth in personal holiness. The short, easy, secure and perfect way to become a saint is through Marian Consecration and Divine Mercy; these are our focus. We have printed and electronic materials available which assist growth in these spiritualities. We also assist young adults in networking with like-minded young adults to build relationships and provide crucial encouragement to one another in their walk with Christ.

Our Vision

A Millennium: Living Marian, Loving Mercifully.

Mercy through Mary is the spirit and soul of those who live by the ideals championed by Marian Consecration and illustrated by the message of Divine Mercy. We are a nationwide movement that unites young men and women in the pursuit of holiness, and is actively seeking ways to inspire others. Consecration to Mary and Merciful Love comprise the strong and lasting bond between young adults who have a clear vision of our goal to win the world for Christ under the generalship of Mary Immaculate. Mercy through Mary is dedicated to working together to share the Joy of the Gospel. We understand and practice what it means to be a saint. Living Marian and loving Mercifully is the true Catholic option in the life of the twenty-first century young adult.

Our History

A Movement Inspiring Young Adults to Spread Divine Mercy and Marian Consecration

Mercy through Mary is a national young adult outreach of the Mary and Mercy Center in Ave Maria, Florida. "Living Marian. Loving Mercifully." These four words sum up the heart of our spirituality which we aim to bring to young adults in an engaging and fresh way. Developing and deepening since the beginnings of the Church, the spirituality of total consecration to Jesus through Mary is our foundation. Since Mary always leads us to Jesus, who is love and mercy itself, we are dedicated to Divine Mercy and committed to a merciful outlook. Along this path of Marian Consecration and Divine Mercy we take as our guides those Saints who have lived, developed, and spread these devotions - St. Louis de Montfort, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Maria Faustina Kowalska, and St. John Paul II.
Putting the teaching, spirituality, and practice of these devotions together in a concise way in his inspiring books and corresponding Hearts Afire Programs, Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC has made Marian Consecration and Divine Mercy engaging and easy for lay people of all ages to understand. For those who want to be a part of this movement and live this spirituality in a more concrete way within the Church, the Marian Missionaries of Divine Mercy (MMDM) apostolate has developed. Based our of Stockbridge, Massachusetts, the Missionaries continue to grow and expand every year. For those interested in participating, there are currently 3 levels of the MMDM.

In 2016 the Mary & Mercy Center opened in Ave Maria, Florida to partner with Fr. Michael Gaitley and the Marian Missionaries of Divine Mercy. In 2018, the Center, along with Ave Maria University students, established a National Young Adult Outreach. The efforts of this outreach have inspired many others to spread the message of Marian Consecration and Divine Mercy throughout the nation.

Spreading a Merciful Outlook

To win the world for Christ we make use of the most powerful tools that Christ and His Mother have asked us to use:  Marian Consecration and Divine Mercy.

A key part of Divine Mercy is first to receive the mercy of God and then to share His mercy with others.

We share His mercy through words, deeds, and prayers. We share mercy through practicing Merciful Outlook.
